कश्मीर राइफल्स रेतजमेंट के 912 अतिवीर का दूसरा बैच सैन्य
प्रतिक्षण के बाद पास आउट हुआ Jablapur witnessed a historic moment when
the second batch of 912 Agniveers of the JAMMU AND KASHMIR RIFLES REGIMENT
passed out and joined the Indian Army after completion of 31 weeks of basic and
advanced military training. Full of pride and high morale, the Agniveers presented a
spectacular Passing Out Parade which was reviewed by Brig Rajesh Sharma, Comdt,
JAK RIF Regimental Centre, Jabalpur as the chief guest. It is indeed a singular
honour for the second batch of the Agniveers to have taken their ‘Last Step’ or
‘Antim Pagh’ and become part of the elite Regiment. The parade was witnessed by a
host of other Officers, JCOs & OR of the Regiment along with Instructor staff and
proud parents of Agniveers. The Chief guest also awarded medals to the meritorious
Agniveers who excelled during their training in the Regimental Centre and also
presented ‘Gourav Padak’ to their proud parents, which was an emotional moment
for them. These Agniveers will now be joining their new Units and shoulder the
responsibility entrusted to the Indian Army. Speaking on the occasion, The Brig
Rajesh Sharma exhorted these soldiers to always remember their oath to the
Tricolour and strive hard to live upto the expectations of the Regiment and Country.
He reminded the Agniveers that it’s a matter of great honour for them to have joined
The Jammu and Kashmir Rifles Regiment whch has led from the front in all
operations and war and is recipient of two Param Vir Chakras and two Ashok
Chakras and very high standards of soldiering are expected from them in
consonance with the motto of the Regiment ‘Prashasta and Ranveerta’. In the end
on behalf of Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, AVSM, Col of the Regiment of Jammu and
Kashmir Rifles & Ladhak Scouts, the Commandant welcomed all the Passing Out
Agniveers in the folds of Jammu and Kashmir Rifles Regiment. The visible expression
of pride and satisfaction on the faces of these Agniveers exuded confidence amongst
