1 on 1 with Pete Hegseth

Today on Battleground Live, we are sharing a previous interview between Sean and Pete Hegseth, veteran and co-host of Fox and Friends Weekend. This was the first interview to air on the Battlelground podcast, which launched in January 2023.

Hegseth shares lessons learned throughout his career, from his time in the military, serving veterans through Concerned Vets for America, to his current position as host of Fox and Friends. They also talk about Hegseth's recent book, Battle for the American Mind.

Pete discusses his decision to join the military and his experiences in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Guantanamo Bay. After attending Princeton, Hegseth joined the military in 2001. The September 11th attacks motivated him to serve in the infantry. Hegseth describes his own experiences in combat and reflects on how they have changed his perspective.
