Joe Biden has spent almost 50 years in Washington, D.C. and, prior to that, a handful of years practicing law. He is the personification of a career politician. Employing the tool ruthlessly to expose the hypocrisy of politicians. His quick wit and use of language was unmatched: “Half my brain tied behind my back, just to make it fair.” “Right here in my formerly nicotine stained fingers.” "Talent on loan from God-d!" He created his own lexicon - the Gorbasm, feminazis, Drive-by Media, seminar callers, stack of stuff, Operation Chaos, Dittoheads, and Rush babies. He wrote two best-selling books, published a successful monthly newsletter, he had a very popular, yet short-lived television show, he raised tens of millions of dollars for charity, and created a history book series for children. But beyond all of his accomplishments, he was optimistic, undeterred by criticism and authentic. He taught his listeners to think for themselves. No Kool-Aid drinkers at the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies where there are no graduates and there are no degrees because the learning never stops. When evaluating rhetoric and policy prescriptions, he encouraged his listeners to examine the motivation of the speakers and remove the emotion. He encouraged us to be critical thinkers. He was a force for good. He will be sorely missed by millions who will never look at 12:07 PM (EST) the same. Rest in peace Rush!

Joe Biden recently selected California Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate. You may be wondering why I would spend any time talking about someone who, if history is any guide, will be a footnote in the history books? Think Geraldine Ferraro, Dan Quayle, Lloyd Bentsen, Jack Kemp, Joe Lieberman, John Edwards, Paul Ryan and Tim Kayne. The reason, of course, is because Joe Biden is not healthy. The likelihood of him serving out his term (if elected) is looking less likely by the day. The other reason to spend time examining Kamala Harris is because the party-line about her from the left-wing media is that she is a pragmatic moderate and a wonderful role model for girls all over the globe. Bernie Sanders has been leading the charge toward socialism his entire life. Within a few weeks of this podcast's publication (at the most a few months), Bernie will be a two-time loser of the Democratic Party's nomination to be President. Despite his failure to secure the nomination, he has laid the foundation for more radical candidates in the future. Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg died recently. Let the fawning begin! While her work ethic and career as an attorney demonstrates many laudable traits and accomplishments, her record on the highest court in the land leaves anyone with the least bit of respect for the Constitution unimpressed and, quite frankly, angry. The bottom line is she did not do her job and should have impeached years ago, perhaps decades ago.
