Were Licensed Games Good? | Retro Discussion 1

I've been thinking about how prevalent licensed games used to be in the 8, 16, and even the 32-bit gaming era and beyond. We used to be able to expect when a big movie came out we would get a tie-in or spin-off game but as development costs have skyrocketed and the quality of a lot of these games were...not great...licensed games based on movies and TV shows have all but disappeared. #retrogaming #retro #gaming
