Console Fighting Games of 1996 - Breakers

Breakers was a shot lived fighting game series from the mid to late 90s, Breakers was developed by Visco Corporation and was released on the Neo Geo and in Arcades in 1996.

The game also received a release for the Neo Geo CD in 1997 and was ported to the Dreamcast in 2017. Breakers received a sequel in 1998 called Breakers Revenge, this entry in the series was exclusive to Arcades.

This exclusivity lasted until 2023, when an updated version of the games was released on Windows worldwide and the Nintendo Switch in the US.
