We’re staring down the solar eclipse in Libra – a shift, a change, a breaking of the old, stepping into something raw and new. It’s a dance between the war and peace, a shattering of the status quo. It’s the first echo of the series that’ll weave through our lives for the next 18 months.

Last week, the black swan I warned about spread its wings. Nuclear alerts in Russia, war tests in the US, and then the alarms, the echoing sirens in Israel – each a prelude to the horror of a terror attack that has left us reeling, hundreds dead, hundreds kidnapped. It’s a moment of transition, a gateway to a war against Hamas that promises to redraw the lines in the Middle East, recasting Israel’s role on the world stage.

This week, Venus descends into Virgo, casting a spotlight only on what’s essential – the grind, the work, the service. Mars, ruling the North Node, demands our focus, especially as it wrestles with a stationing Pluto. We’re in a crucible of fear and survival, a moment beckoning us to act, to untether from the institutions and structures wielding overwhelming agendas.

Yet, in this tumult, there’s a risk – a pull towards more dependency, a clasp to ideas borne from fear, a unifying under the banner of propagated narratives. Awareness, consciousness – these are our allies as the eclipse pulls us into an unfolding drama set to crescendo around April 2024.
