Day 4 of RLCC Daily Devo: The Promise of Blessing

Scripture: Genesis 12:6-7
"Abram passed through the land to the place at Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, 'To your offspring I will give this land.' So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him."

Reflection:
As Abram journeyed, God reaffirmed His promise to bless him and his descendants with the land of Canaan. In response, Abram built an altar, acknowledging God's faithfulness and provision.

Application:
Even in the midst of uncertainty, we can trust in God's promises. Like Abram, we should acknowledge His faithfulness by building altars of gratitude in our hearts and lives, recognizing His blessings.

Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for Your promises of blessing. Help us to trust in Your faithfulness, especially when we face challenges and uncertainties. May we build altars of gratitude in our hearts, acknowledging Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
