LGBT activist says children should have the "right to autonomy" and "their own bodies"

While delegating in favour of a Region of Waterloo censorship by-law that would have the effect of banning parental rights protests against LGBT indoctrination in schools, a labour union executive from PSAC, John Bannister, made eye-brow raising comments about "childhood autonomy" and painted parents as evil restrictors of "childhood autonomy" in the arena of sexual education and "their right to their own bodies". This speech was given to Region of Waterloo Council members at the public council meeting on September 27, 2023, in which Councilors were to vote on a censorship by-law that could ban protests and individuals on the basis of being critical of LGBT ideology with respect to "Gender Identity", "Gender Expression" and "Sexual Orientation".
