With both Nike and Puma phasing out not just kangaroo leather, but leather boots in general, it seemed like it was only a matter of time before Adidas did the same. Well, I'm pleased to report that they've not done that, and what they have done is arguably better than all of their previous leather football boot efforts!

In today's video we take a closer look at the new Adidas Copa Pure 2+, the top of the line $280 leather option from the 3 stripes, that takes offers a tech forward approach to a classic leather boot! While the visual changes might not seem overly significant, the physical changes and little refinements have made for what I think is a huge overall improvement. We go over the good, the bad, how they compare to some of the other leather boots currently on the market, and whether or not these are worth the $280 price tag.
