THE IMPORTANCE OF THE DOCUMENT PREPARED BY THE TAPAS NINE IN THE DISAPPEARANCE OF MADELEINE MCCANN

This typed document was collectively prepared by all nine members of the tapas nine, on their own inititative, and was entitled "Sequence of events: Thursday May 3rd 2007 - 20.30 to 22.00 as recalled by Gerry McCann, Kate McCann, Jane Tanner... etc"

It was written in English which removed the possibility of what they purported getting lost in translation and was handed into Portuguese Police by a British Liaison Offical before the second round of statements

In this document, the tapas nine stated very clearly, in their own words, that Jane Tanner left the tapas table and saw Gerry McCann and Jez Wilkins conversing by the patio gate of apartment 5A

This evidence is corroborated by the maps drawn independently by Jez Wilkins and Jane Tanner, in which they both placed an "X" by the patio gate of 5a, marking the spot where Gerry McCann and Jez Wilkins had conversed

Jez Wilkins also made three statements to police which corroborate the tapas nine's typed document regarding where Gerry and Jez conversed on the street that night

All this evidence indicates beyond reasonable doubt, that Gerry McCann and Jez Wilkins conversed outside the patio gate of apartment 5a that night and that Gerry McCann was untruthful to police in his second statement, when he claimed the conversation took place on the opposite side of the street to the patio gate
