Awaken | Episode 3: Esau | I Need Instant Gratification

Are you someone that gets upset when someone doesn't respond to your text right away? There's a little bit of impatience in all of us and we often desire instant gratification. We will be reading about how Esau sold his birthright to his brother Jacob for stew. It sounds crazy, I know right but he did!! However, I feel like sometimes we sell our spiritual birthright for material things when we choose the material things over intimacy with God. We live in an instant pot/microwave culture where desire the instant results over the things of God. If we would seek more of a slow cooker type of result from God, we would find that the results would be a lot better, and we would gain so much spiritual maturity. Please join me to find out how to not fall asleep while waiting on God and how to desire delayed gratification over instant gratification.
