What is a Just War? Confronting Evil and the Knight vs the Barbarian

Evil must be stopped. And righteousness can stop it, because righteousness is concerned with life and light. It will do what it needs to to secure the most life and most light in this world. Including destruction, but with a fine point and careful consideration.

In the upcoming months as the world escalates to conflict and tempts you to hate and rage and entertain evil; respond back like the one who knows better. The one who has righteousness in their heart and knows what the true enemy is. In a mindset like that, there is a time for war and a time for peace. A time for unity and a time for anger.

I like the image of the knight, from medieval Europe. Why? Because the knight was supposed to be a noble. The difference in culture between a noble and a non-noble, wasn't supposed to be property and power. It became that as a way to reward good, then in an inevitably corrupt human society, that became a point of contention and suppression of the poor. But it's origin was in one who was high-minded. The warrior, in medieval Europe, wasn't the brute or thug who only knew violence and that was his lot. It was the noble, who knew better, and could be entrusted with aggression.

In this upcoming time, choose to be a knight, not a brute. Choose to be high-minded, not someone who has devolved to their animalistic tendencies.
