Equifax is NOT calling you, feds say

Scammers pretending to be Equifax workers are targeting consumers across the United States, according to the Federal Trade Commission. The phone scammers typically start the call with “This is Equifax calling to verify your account information.” However, the FTC wants consumers to know that Equifax will not call you out of the blue.
