In a recent incident in Manhattan Beach, California, a group of armed brazen smash and grab thieves attempted to raid a local jewelry store around lunchtime.

However, their criminal escapade was short-lived as a courageous store employee exercised their Second Amendment rights and, in self-defense, opened fire to protect the premises.

This was not the first time the jewelry store had fallen victim to such criminals. In August 2014, the same store was targeted by smash and grab robbers who managed to get away with an impressive haul of approximately $250,000 worth of Rolex watches and precious diamonds.

During the most recent October 6 robbery, the criminals managed to obtain some merchandise; however, the exact amount remains unreported.
