When Marvel & DC Comics DIE, Where Do Comic Creators GO?

Comic writers and artists who once worked to usher in the era of MCU Phase 1 to 3 and the DCEU have not been working for both companies in the recent years, and in a sign of times to come, have taken to working on creator-owned books instead. A new creator-owned imprint Ghost Machine has been launched by Geoff Johns and includes creators such as Bryan Hitch and Francis Manapul among others. Adding to the list are creators who have fled for DSTLRY such as Scott Snyder, Becky Cloonan and more. With all these household name creators gone, where does this leave the Big Two?
