#1 - Hernando County Book Fight - Exposing the Book Ban (Gov DeSantis)

This is the first of our series titled "Hernando County Book Fight" in which we expose to the public the massive war being waged behind the scenes between parents, grandparents, taxpayers, Moms for Liberty, and the Hernando County School District over illegal - sexually age-inappropriate books that have been found in our school libraries.

This video is from a 2023 Press Conference titled "Exposing the Book Ban Hoax" which was held by Gov. DeSantis.

A number of the books featured in this press conference have been discovered within the Hernando County School District and were also present in the children's section of the Hernando County Public Library.

The difference between the School District and the County is glaring. When our Chapter notified the County Commission that "Gender Queer" and other books were in the children's section they removed the books and eventually voted to defund the American Library Association (ALA). They did this immediately, while we were going on 2 years of fighting tooth and nail with the School District to get equally bad books removed.
