🐾Freedom Day for our Rescued Bobcats!🐾
On Friday, April 28, 2023, we received a call about 4 baby bobcat kittens in need of rescue in South Florida. A large tract of land spanning thousands of acres was being cleared, and an excavator disturbed a bobcat den site. After a careful search, three baby bobcats were found amidst the rubble of vegetation, and the crew found a fourth kitten. Sadly, reuniting them with their mother wasn't an option due to the active land clearing.
We admitted these precious bobcat kittens into our rehab program and named them Dutton, Loo, Kaye, and Mare. Sadly, a short time later Dutton passed away.
The past 6 months have been a journey filled with love and care from our dedicated rehab team for the remaining 3 bobcat kittens. They've grown and thrived, and now, they're ready to return to the wild where they belong.
**Today, on October 12, 2023, it's Freedom Day for Kaye, Loo, and Mare!** 🌲🐾
These three bobcats are heading back to the wild, thanks to the incredible support of our community. Your donations and encouragement have made this possible, and we couldn't be more excited!
