Anycubic Kobra Trash

My Anycubic Kobra Neo had a bad heated bed. Anycubic had me try a test print. For some reason, as soon as I started the pring I got an error telling me the printer couldn't go to the home position. I was told the new bed would solve all of that, and it made no sense to me. Now that I've installed the replacement bed, the Y axis still wont' home. I replaced the cable, and it would then try, but for some reason, the printer made a strange noise, and still doesn't home before I get the same error message.
