Cavalry Girls is a Rogue-lite, top down shooter with mech building, Waifu pilots and guns. Lots of guns. What is not to love?

This week starts with a real banger of an opening, complete with a rocking theme song and preview of some of the shenanigans that goes down in the game.
this week we get our teams 1st day off and introductions to the logistics/away missions. Logistics missions are either a non-combat related freebie, or a convoy defense fight with you guarding moving vehicles. Away missions require you to send one mech to run a solo attack on an enemy position.

We also get access to the dorm function, showcased across the bottom of the screen. Now you can watch your favorite girl(s) laze around, like some degenerate voy- I mean expert interior decorator, as better furniture decreases the stress of the girls. But watch out! This is no free show, as it comes with a massive increase to your daily taxes.

Thankfully, we also get permissions to use the Workshop! Upgrade time! Hopefully you have been holding on to your gear! Combine the same item to upgrade it to the next tier. As a bonus note, As long as it is not an identical item of the same tier you can add it on to your mech. Stack upgrades for even bigger stats.

As the week goes on, the Lounge becomes accessible, giving a couple of action points to relax and flir- I mean develop trust with the girls. Make sure to start giving gifts to the girls if you have not yet. This will build their trust and affection with you, granting special buffs and even new weapons.

We are blessed with our third team member, Choices are randomized between the remaining girls. I went with the trendy girl with big, uh... Guns! Yeah, uh, her mech has the largest health pool and upgrade slots. Be sure to load her up with the largest, hardest, heaviest gear you have.

This little series is my first run through the demo, roughly based on one week of in-game days per video. These get progressively longer as more features are unlocked each day.

I also spend probably far too much time in the hangar and barracks, developing my loadouts and team, respectively.

I will eventually get around to giving an actual demo review, hopefully before the full release on Oct. 20th, 2023.
