Random Rants: NOT SO FAST! Negotiations STALL In Actor Strike! Talks Halted Over Revenue Sharing!

Hollywood directors inked their deal. And after almost 5 months of striking, the WGA signed theirs. It seemed that Tinseltown actors were going to follow soon enough. But the studios clearly had other ideas and have suspended negotiations with SAG-AFTRA. It appears their goal is to send the actors through the same on-again, off-again negotiation spin cycle with the actors as they did with the WGA, this time over revenue sharing. Actors are asking for $0.57 per year for each streaming subscriber, which the AMPTP calls a "bridge too far". Just when it looked like Hollywood was working its way back to full operation, it looks like the studios might still have some deals left to cancel.
