Who is Jennifer Lopez?

Jennifer Lopez, JLo, Jenny from the Block. In the last 30 years, she’s conquered movies, music, TV, business, and fashion. Now, at age 53, Jen’s hotter than ever. So, who is Jennifer Lopez? And how did she end up being one of the biggest stars in the world?

Jennifer was born in the Bronx in 1969. She started out as a dancer, before shifting her focus to acting. She catapulted to stardom in 1996, when she starred in the biopic “Selena”. After that, she continued to star in successful movies, before embarking on a singing career in 1999. Soon, she was a successful movie star and queen of rom coms. Her early 2000s relationship with Ben Affleck made her a mainstay in tabloids and celebrity gossip. After she took some time off to become a mom, JLo made a comeback in 2011 when she signed up to be a judge on American Idol. In 2019, she got Oscar buzz for the movie Hustlers, and, in 2020, she co-headlined the Super Bowl halftime show with Shakira. In 2021, Bennifer reunited, and Jen married Ben Affleck the following year.
