We are publishing details of the bold breakthrough of the airborne assault group on the BMD-4 along the defense line north-west of Verbovoy.
Guardsmen-paratroopers of the 247th regiment conducted reconnaissance, assessed the enemy’s weaknesses, and after artillery barrage, carried out an operation to capture a strong point as part of an operation to seize the initiative.
The footage shows a swoop attack by several BMD-4 units and an airborne assault company on the position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces west of Verbovoy.
The landing was carried out directly into the Ukrainian Armed Forces' support area under the cover of fire from airborne combat vehicles.
Then the assault group began clearing the positions, and a close-quarters shooting ensued. The Ukrainian Armed Forces militants were bombarded with grenades and covered in a barrage of fire. The survivors were asked to surrender.
More than two dozen militants were killed, several were captured
