Lepanto

The epic poem Lepanto (written in 1911, published in 1915) by G. K. Chesterton has some parallels to the current war in Palestine by Israel. However, unlike in Lepanto's 1571 naval battle with the Holy League and the Ottoman Empire, the alliances of the October 2023 war are unclear.
