Governor Whitmer Encourages Community Leaders To Apply For Community Violence Intervention Grants

Governor Gretchen Whitmer is reminding applicants they have until Monday, October 23, to apply for up to $1 million in community violence intervention grants.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services said the funding will specifically advance community violence intervention strategies to enhance community safety in Michigan.
This opportunity is open to nonprofits, private, public, federally recognized tribes and universities, Indian Health Services, Tribal and Urban Indian Organizations.
