Decolonization in peak anthropocene, A case study examining the value of Hawaiian sovereignty

Seeks to define the “west” and “global south,” establish a new and expanded conception of the power elite and military industrial complex, and clarify who is served by power in an era of terminal ecological overshoot in the twilight of western-led international finance capitalism, Chinese-led state industrial capitalism, socialism, and all of the other many other iterations of economics worldwide, and by extension the twilight also of the social and cultural life supported by economies. Key concepts to be explored will include overshoot, peak everything, the great acceleration, the anthropocene, and my original concept of peak anthropocene. Finally, the value of Hawaiian sovereignty in the context of peak anthropocene will be examined.
