We cannot rest with the faith that trusts in the cross and its pardon alone; we must go on to know the new life, the life of glory and power divine in human nature, of which the Spirit of the glorified Jesus is the witness and the bearer. This is the mystery hid from generations past, but now is made known by the Holy Spirit, Christ in us: He can actually live His divine life in us and through us who are in the flesh.
