The Stalin Line of fortified areas was the first to be designed coming out of WW1, it consisted of thousands of bunkers, and tunnel systems. The vision behind the Soviet concept is sound but there were problems in the construction as I will show you..

Not much is seen or heard of these elaborate defenses in the West, so I went to Ukraine to crawl through some of the Stalin line bunkers to show you excactly what they were and how they were constructed.

Along with s local military historians and an interpreter we will show you something very different from what you have seen before, with a little throwback to the dreadnought era.
