MZTV 1325: We Are to Be Firstborn From Among Mortals

Jesus Christ is not only the Firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15), but firstborn from among the dead (Colossians 1:18). He pioneered the route from death to immortality for all sentient creation. But in case you think that we members of the body of Christ are mere passive recipients of this grace with nothing else to do or be, Christ Jesus our Lord has given to us an honor so great that the rest of creation stands on tiptoe to witness it.
