Marvel Comics is Creatively BANKRUPT!

When comics creators won't give you new characters, you can always take an old one, add a brand new spin to it, and end up with a character you can make a ton of merchandise off of. That is the most likely scenario behind the development of Mary Jane as Jackpot - Marvel's attempt to cash in on her popularity and create a 'new' female character all in one shot. But will readers accept this, or see it as a blatant cash grab?
