Daniel Radcliffe Welcomes First Baby!

Daniel Radcliffe and his girlfriend Erin Darke just welcomed their first baby together. That’s right, Harry Potter is a dad!

Daniel’s rep confirmed the good news near the end of April, after paparazzi caught the couple pushing a baby stroller in New York City. We still don’t know when exactly the baby was born, its sex, or its name. But that’s no surprise, considering how private Daniel and Erin are. The couple, who have been together since 2012, may both be actors, but value their privacy. Daniel has said he doesn’t want fame for his kids, and that’s coming from experience. He struggled with the pressure of playing Harry Potter, and even developed a problem with alcoholism when he was young. Fortunately, Daniel got sober. Maybe Daniel can get some first-time parent tips from his Harry Potter co-stars with kids, including Ron Weasley himself, Rupert Grint. He became a dad in 2020. The big question is, what will the baby be named??
