The War Won't Ignore You

Yesterday on my drive to get some local food I found myself stuck in a huge traffic jam. As I got closer to the chokepoint, I realized that the traffic jam was caused by a pro Palestinian rally in Minneapolis. What normally was a 15 minutes commute took me an hour. This painful delay is an example of how we are all connected. Disasters from one part of the world trickle right to our doorsteps. There is a wise adage that goes- You can ignore the war, but the war won't ignore you.
