Abortion is never "the only option"

The truth is this couple left Ohio not because they were refused treatment for their baby's condition but because they wanted to kill their baby and as public employees' abortion isn't covered. Their baby suffered from a rare condition called body stalk anomaly where the child's organs develop outside her body. Her birth would have been covered by their insurance. Neo natal care would have been covered. But rather than choose the compassionate path they chose to murder their child instead.

If there are abnormalities in a child, even ones that may prevent a child to live very long after birth, abortion is not the answer. Allowing natural events to take place and providing proper care is compassionate. We do not kill people at the first signs of cancer, or other fatal diseases, and so it should be for the unborn. Give them a chance at life, or the chance of a miracle.
