SEPTEMBER 8, 2023
🆘 MOROCCO: A very strong earthquake occurred in the Marrakech-Safi region of Morocco. There were nearly three thousand casualties in Morocco and thousands more were injured. The earthquake caused widespread destruction.

SEPTEMBER 10, 2023
🌊 LIBYA: Another North African country fell victim to a climatic cerberus. Tropical Cyclone Danielle became Africa's deadliest storm on record. By September 15, the death toll exceeded 11,000. On that fateful night, many people were swept out to sea by the huge torrent of water. Nearly 100,000 are still missing.

🔹 New York, USA — Sudden flooding on Sep 29 caused chaos, with casualties and missing persons.
🔹 Jalisco, Mexico — At least 7 casualties and 9 missing after a river overflowed due to heavy rains.
🔹 Guatemala — Heavy downpours flooded the capital, causing casualties and missing persons.
🔹 Panama and Paraguay — Flooding affected some regions in early September.
🔹 Brazil — Deadly flooding in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina resulted in over 40 casualties.
🔹 Spain — Storm system Dana brought relentless rain, leading to casualties and missing people from Sep 2 to 4.
🔹 Greece — Storm cyclone "Danielle" turned villages into lakes, causing casualties and missing persons.
