There are thousands, probably tens of thousands of abandoned oil and gas wells across the country, that are a hazard that leaks methane, and can contaminate fresh water sources. So a big injection of federal grant dollars, is going to states to plug some of these wells, but everyone says they do not see the entire problem being solved.
