The Fallacy of Conquering Sin

A great fallacy on the earth today is the belief that many are needed to conquer sin, implying that the whole world must stop sinning and become holy in the sight of both man and God to be saved. The Jewish people tried this technique of being perfect while under the Mosaic Law. It did not work, nor can a Christian hope to achieve the state of holiness without first conquering the evil one of eternal fear, pain, and death. This is a fallacy of divine truth, as a person may just as effectively use the Lord's sacrament of penance and the blessing of the Holy Mass to continually purify himself from the dirt of the demonic world, thereby removing his satanic death. We have been given new flesh at baptism, like a pair of overalls, which is to be soiled and later cast into the born-again grave to be purified by the coming judgment of God and finally redeemed in the blood of the Lamb. The soiled evil flesh of man was sacrificed upon Calvary, then washed in the sacred blood of Christ, leaving only the divine bones of God to be transformed into a new transfigured body of divine truth during the Church's coming resurrection upon the Lord's return.
