The Analog Hour With sophmorejohn - Episode 3 - The Pink Spiders

For episode 3 I wanted to pick a band that wasn't familiar to most people. An amazing band with a history spanning 20 years. Hailing from Nashville Tennesse The Pick Spiders Blend pop, punk, and rock into a sooth sound on the ears. They made their big break in 2006 with their third album and first with a major label Teenage Graffiti produce by none other than Ric Ocasek. The Album Peaked at number 84 on the Billboard top 200 but as they went to work on the next record things fell apart with the label and the band. After finishing their fourth album the band took a break and continued to work until covid. Finally back in the heat of it comes tonight's album Freakazoid released in 2023 and following that up with a US tour opening for Everclear I hope that you all enjoy tonight's selection and enjoy The Pink Spiders as much as I do.
