Learn how leca and semi hydroponics make orchids grow. Orchids are challenging plants to grow and they need regular repotting. Orchids are expensive orchids to purchase and then maintain. It is highly recommended to change out the media of your orchid every 2 years. This gets very expensive and seems silly, especially if your media still looks good. The fact that organic media breaks down a little bit, changes the climate in the pot and orchids are not the same as houseplants that don't need as frequent repotting, makes the upkeep of orchids quite a burden on your wallet.
