The Horde: Heroes or Villains? | World of Warcraft

Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today I decided to go over a question that came up in a previous video of mine which is, "Is the Horde morally gray?" and for me, the answer is a resounding "no".

To me, the Horde is very clearly leaning towards being evil and even though there are some good characters mixed in there from time to time like Thrall or Cairne, for the most part, the Horde in every iteration, and perhaps the Orcish race as a whole, is just straight up evil.

In this video I decide to take what I know and analyze it starting from the events of WC2 and ending with what we see in somewhere around the end of Mists of Pandaria in order to get some idea of whether or not the Horde could ever be considered "morally gray".

I think its super important to understand that I'm mostly a Horde player myself and that it doesn't matter to me if they're the "good guys" or the "bad guys". I consider them the bad guys, I just don't care, because I like them for other reasons. Like all living things with a brain as complex as ours, Orcs and the races within the Horde are complex creatures, but in this video I essentially argue that Horde races are innately predisposed towards something akin to "evil" and that as a result, they could never be considered morally gray.
