I am Jibreska, a Nicaraguan woman, mother, sister, witch, healer and Functional Medicine Doctor. I live in the jungles of Ometepe island where I am raising my children, caring for my farm and connecting with nature. After a traumatic birth experience, I decided to step out of the medical system and look for what health and healing means. I started to study Functional Medicine and that opened a whole world of knowledge about the human body-mind-spirit unit. My children have also taught me so much about self-healing and how the body is perfectly designed to heal when given the right environment and diet.

I am trained in tropical diseases, palliative care and functional medicine which includes Ayurvedic medicine, Chinese Medicine, New German Medicine, Jungle Herbalism, Foundations of detoxification and many other types of healing modalities that help me to see the body as a whole. I am passionate about parasites, mold and children’s health. When I am not learning about science, I am at home, cooking from scratch, taking care of my children, partner, animals and household, living the best version of myself, and that is what I desire for you.
