Which Pixel should you buy?
The Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are two of the most anticipated phones of the year. But with a $300 price difference, which one is right for you?
In this video, I'll do a full comparison of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, covering everything from design and display to performance, camera, and battery life. I'll also highlight the key differences between the two phones, so you can make an informed decision about which one to buy.
Here are some of the key differences between the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro:
Display: The Pixel 8 Pro has a larger, 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch OLED display with a 60-120Hz refresh rate.
Camera: The Pixel 8 Pro has a triple-lens rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, and a 48MP telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom. The Pixel 8 has a dual-lens rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor.
Performance: Both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are powered by the new Google Tensor G3 chip, but the Pixel 8 Pro has 12GB of RAM, while the Pixel 8 has 8GB of RAM. Storage is also different with the Pixel 8 Pro coming standard with 12GB of RAM, whereas the Pixel 8 only comes with 8GB of RAM
So, which Pixel should you buy?
If you're looking for the best possible Pixel experience, with the biggest and brightest display, the best camera system, and the most powerful performance, then the Pixel 8 Pro is the way to go.
However, if you're on a budget, or if you don't need all of the bells and whistles of the Pro model, then the Pixel 8 is still a great phone. It has a smaller display, a less powerful camera system, and less RAM, but it's still powered by the same Google Tensor G3 chip, and it still has a great battery life.
