The Divine Gamble

In short, to get a lot of God's treasures, a person must give a lot, which means he must give his labor's wealth and even his own life to get the Lord's treasures of a new body, eternal life, and his own kingdom. Recall that in the game of chance, the more a person is willing to bet, the more he can win, but a smart gambler seeks to seize the moment when he can get the best odds and win it all on just one roll of the dice. We see that in the case of the Lord God Almighty, he was willing to bet it all and gambled on the greatest long shot ever imaginable as he bet his creation on the idea that man's free will could be transformed into his divine will, thereby making all men godlike in the end. This means that Jesus is seeking those souls, which will share his moment of panic, pain, and death, to achieve spiritual purification of their selfish nature as they sacrifice their life to the Lord's divine will of new hope. We see that these devoted souls will experience truth as their spirits cry out in agony, suddenly understanding the meaning of life from the standpoint of a desperate need for personal salvation, which leads to their new body, eternal life, and own kingdom.
