Harvested beetroot

On October 21, a beetroot was dug out of the ground. The leaves of the beetroot are cut and piled. Later we will throw these leaves into the compost bin. Buryak is a good vegetable for salads or cooking borscht. The size of the beet varies. Weight ranges from 0.5 to 4 pounds. The total weight of the beet harvest is about 40 pounds. Although there had already been frosts, the leaves of the beet were not damaged. This is a very strong plant.
