A combination of decreasing institutional trust, social media driven monetized disinformation, and generative AI tools are laying the foundation for nothing we see to be credibly believed, without some sort of third party authority to verify it. This would, subsequently, require institutional trust... since an authority of some kind, is then required to verify what is real.
