Ghana floods: Officials say dam opened to avoid disaster

After months of heavy rains, authorities in Ghana say they're being forced to release water from a major reservoir.
The aim is to prevent two dams from bursting, and
creating further devastation along the Volta river basin. But for people downstream, their lives may never be the same.
