Jesus our Sabbath Rest

In the Old Testament, the Sabbath was a day of rest and a reminder of God's creation and His rest on the seventh day. In the New Testament, Christ is seen as the fulfillment of the Sabbath. Believers find spiritual rest in Him, understanding that through faith in Christ, they can find rest from their sins and the burden of trying to earn salvation through their works.
