The Archangel Gabriel appears to Mary and tells her that she shall be the mother of Jesus, the son of God. She and her husband Joseph travel to Bethlehem, where Jesus is born. This might be the only film version of Christ's tale that includes mention of The Virgin Mary and St. Joseph's families and their situation in life before they discover what God has in mind for them.
Starring 1980s character actors Blanche Baker and Jeff East. Filmed in Israel and first aired on December 9, 1979.
