Mystique calls Wolverine to tell him that Maverick's daughter Kristie is in trouble. The two travel to Weapon X headquarters to rescue her, and have to fight Sabretooth and Maverick in the process. With Kristie's help, they escape with an unconscious Maverick while blowing up the Weapon X base. The director of Weapon X escapes with X-23, who had been imprisoned there. Back at the mansion, Emma Frost is able to partially restore Maverick's memories, who is then reunited with his daughter.
