Is there a fee for making changes? Ask Home Builders THIS Before Signing a Contract #homebuilding

Do NOT Build a Home with out first doing this… The most important decision you will make when building a home is choosing the right home builder. Question 6 you should ask a home builder is, Is there a fee for making changes? and If so, how much? If the builder allows changes, be prepared to pay a fee, usually in the $500 range. This fee is charged for EACH change you make not for a list of changes AND, this fee is non-refundable. It will NOT be applied toward you home. The fee is also meant to discourage you from making changes. Make sure you understand the builders policy before you sign a contract.
