Random Rants: Would Lucasfilm Dare Reboot The Star Wars Franchise?

Matthew Vaughn, director of the Kingsman series, Kick-Ass, and X-Men: First Class, recently came out with the insane notion of rebooting the Star Wars franchise, stating the only way he would ever consider making a Star Wars film was if he could hit the reset button and tell stories about his favorite characters. In fact, he stated Star Wars needs to be rebooted in order to remain a viable franchise, that the focus always should be on the Skywalker family. This seems to disregard not only every other important character in the lore of Star Wars, but also the original vision of the creator, George Lucas.
