God Sends Daniel an Answer

Today we continue in Daniel 9:20-27. As we have been covering for the past two weeks Daniel was moved to prayer by reading from the prophecy of Jeremiah concerning the 70 years of desolation that God determined due to Israel transgressions against him.

Daniel begins to fast and pray with pleas for mercy to the Lord to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. Daniel is about 80 years old at this point. Israel has been captive now for about 65 years, so Daniel is moved to ask God to act.

Today we are going to see God send Daniel the answer.
